Refer a Friend FAQs
Q: Oops! My friend forgot to use my code when booking. Can you add my referral code to their reservation so we can both get credit?
A: Referral codes can be added prior to a reservation starting. Once a reservation is started or completed, a referral code can no longer be added. You can add a referral code to your account by logging into your account at www.silvercar.com. Once logged in, click the Account tab and select Refer a Friend from the menu on the left.
Q: I completed my profile and have not yet completed a drive with Silvercar. Can I still get my referral code and share with friends to get referral credit?
A: The referral code is only valid after the referee has completed their first drive. If the referrer has completed a rental with Silvercar, they can go ahead and share their code and begin claiming referral rewards.
Q: I can’t find the code on the app.
A: Codes can be found in your account online, NOT via the app (at this time). You can find your referral code by logging into your account at www.silvercar.com. Once logged in, click the Account tab and select Refer a Friend from the menu on the left.
Q: I've completed my first rental. Where is my $25?
A: Your qualification for the $25 referral reward is upon completed reservation. A few days after completion, you will receive a notification via email regarding your referral reward. Notification emails will come from Silvercar <firstname.lastname@example.org>. If you do not receive the email within 48 hours of the completion of your rental, please check your spam/junk folders.
