Audi vehicles feature start-stop technology to assist with saving fuel and increasing gas mileage.
When the car comes to a stop in drive (D), the engine will shut off. To restart the car, simply let your foot off the brake and the engine will turn back over.
You can easily turn off this feature by pressing the following button. When the red light is lit the start-stop feature is off.
Please keep in mind that turning the car off and on using the “Push to Start” button will reset and turn the start-stop feature back on.
